Aly AJ is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Aly has toured nationally supporting her own headline shows as well as playing festivals including the Victorian Artist's Collective and Spring Music Festival with artists such as The Jezabels, Danny Brown and Grandmaster Flash. Aly AJ - Insomniatic (Japanese Deluxe Edition Instrumental) is a new album by Aly AJ. It is a remastered instrumental version of her debut album "Insomniatic" that she recorded in Japan with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. All of the recordings were done live without any overdubs or multitracks. The album was originally only available to her Japanese fans. When she was about to launch her debut album in Japan, she thought it would be great to make special edition for Japanese fans. She recorded the songs again with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra for this special edition. She has released 2 singles in Japan; 'Insomnic (Japanese Version)' and 'Sweet Pastime (Japanese Version)'.
